One of his finest examples to appear for sale, this was exhibited in 1920 at the Art Gallery of Ontario of a forest landscape with woodcutters toiling by a sunny clearing signed lower left - Homer Ransford Watson, PRCA, OSA, 1855-1936; note verso that it was professionally cleaned in 1940 at Doon, Ontario - 18 x 24in (45.7 x 61.0cm)
